Hello! I’m Laura – owner and baker at the Daley Bread Bakery in Golden, British Columbia
I have been baking professionally for nearly 20 years.
What started out as a hobby, trying out new recipes, baking cakes for friends, quickly turned into a full time job.
I eventually moved out west from Ontario and ran a very busy bakery in Banff national park. This taught me the skills needed to opening my own place here in Golden.
Before that, I also honed my skills working as an in house pastry chef with CMH heli skiing, taking bread courses in both Edmonton and San Francisco. It was during these years that I really fell in love with sourdough and all things bread!
I am beyond grateful for the amazing, heartfelt welcome I have received since opening my doors here in Golden. It is so great to see so many people that appreciate a great loaf of bread.
As we continue to grow and learn, I look forward to bringing you all of the delicious baked goods that we can!
